After 15years working in the UK book trade and publishing world, I upped sticks and left London for rural South-West France. Five years later and I'm still getting used to the peace and quiet!

Here in Gascony I have set up a small cultural centre to promote music and the arts within the rural community. I have travelled widely in France and write a regular column for French magazine

My other great love is gardening, I am RHS trained and was raised on a Hardy Perennial Plant Nursery which held a national collection and had gardens open to the public. In amongst deadheading, weeding and propogating I've managed to write a bit and have a Masters Degree in Screen writing and Screen Research (London Institute). I've also won awards for both my short stories and screenplays.
